Exam window: March 21-April 12, 2025
Application deadline: March 7, 2025

Examination Details

ODS Certification Exam from National Cancer Registrars Association (2024)

Examination Length: 4-hours total run time.
- Part 1: 2 hours
- Break: 15 minutes
- Part 2: 2 hours
Permissible Items:
- Calculator: One is built into the interface. No physical calculators are permitted.
- Scrap Paper/Whiteboard: Online notepad is built into the interface. No physical scrap paper or whiteboard are permitted.
- Resources Allowed: PDF attachments are provided within the examination interface. No physical resources are allowed.
Washroom breaks: Permitted during the scheduled breaks. If an additional washroom break is required during the examination parts, it is approved, but the examination timer will continue to run.

How do I cancel or rebook my exam?

All rebookings will be done directly within your examination profile. You can access this site by going here: https://ncra.ysasecure.com.

The deadline to cancel or reboook is 3 calendar days prior to the originally scheduled examination date. Please refer to the table below for additional confirmation.

How do I transfer to a different exam window?

Any request to transfer out of the current exam window must be sent to the NCRA certification department. Please send your request to exam@ncra-usa.org.

When can I expect the examination results?

Candidates will NOT receive any immediate test results after completion of the examination. Within eight weeks of the close of the testing window, candidates will be notified by email of their final test results. Questions related to score reports can be sent to exam@ncra-usa.org.

What if I need to change my name or email address?

Any request to adjust information within your candidate profile must be sent to the NCRA certification department for review. Please send your request to exam@ncra-usa.org.

I did not receive my confirmation email or instructions to book my examination.
